Apple Macbook Battery Charge Cycles
Ralph | 2024-04-03 02:18:41 |
Seem to take and hold a charge. It will take several cycles to see how they hold up. 5 |

After 4 years, thousands of photos and hundreds of charge - discharge cycles my original NB-13L battery was declining in capacity and needed replaced. Maybe I could have saved by buying a 3rd party battery but I figured the premium price over 4 years comes to about $5 per year and I can afford that for the premium Canon brand. 5 |

This battery has worked very well over a number of charge cycles. It is less expensive than the Canon branded battery and seems to have similar performance 5 |

Have used this battery pack over a few charge; use until near depleted and recharge cycles, and have found it to be as good as the original battery shipped with my X-T2. Mirrorless cameras put a high drain on the batteries since their rear display, imaging sensor and eye-level display together consume lots of power. Since this is the case, I want to carry two batteries. Personally, I rather pay the premium price for a manufacturer battery and the quality control that comes with it. This battery is worth the price. However, that's just my opinion, as always YMMV. 5 |

I've been using Eneloop batteries at work and home for years, with dozens of batteries in service, and they always get the job done. As far as meeting advertised claims: They do indeed hold charge as advertised (never tried for 10 years, but if I charge a batch up they will still be in good shape after sitting around for months). I periodically run batteries through a 3-cycle refresh to confirm they're still healthy, and I have only ever had one battery out of several dozen in heavy use fail after a year or two of use (by fail I mean it was only 60-70% of the original capacity without having gone through a large number of charge cycles). The up to 800mAh is unfortunately the same as other Ni-MH batteries, which is to say probably only accurate if you bleed the battery absolutely dead at a very low discharge rate. On my tester, being drained at 200mA (similar to a moderate-drain application), they clock in at about 730mAh when new, which is about the same 90% of rated I've come to expect. On the plus side, after at least a couple hundred charge cycles, they still measure at essentially the same capacity as when new. 5 |

what's that saying? you get what you pay for. I had a couple aftermarket batteries I used with my A6300 and after about 5 charge cycles, they started showing a severe drop off in capacity. Yet the original Sony battery is still chugging out better than 90% capacity after 100+ cycles. So I recommend a bit more coin for a reliable battery that will not let you down. 5 |

It fits fine, even in my underwater housing. I have only had the battery a short, so no idea how many charge cycles it will hold, but I bought a spare at the same time. 5 |

I've used these now for 2.5 years. They hold the charge well and on average I got 210 pictures per charge with 46 % of the photos taken with the flash (measured over 11 charge cycles). For comparison, the OEM Canon NB-11L's that came with the cameras on average lasted for 224 pictures per charge with 58% of the photos taken with the flash (measured over 9 charge cycles). These batteries are excellent value for money and I'd definitely buy from this brand again when I need spare batteries in the future. Especially as Canon these days spends more time trying to find new ways of extracting money from customers rather than providing a great product. 5 |

Less charge than Eneloop Pro bud more than 4x times cycles lifespan. If the white ones hold your job, you don't need to spend more on the pro version. 5 |

I never have any luck with aftermarket batteries. They just do not last as long per charge, or in some cases they just lost their capacity after a few charge cycles. 5 |
