If you're debating this keyboard, I recommend it. Here are some minor benefits I've enjoyed: - Backlit keys when color grading in a dark room - Sturdy and doesn't slide on the desk - Bluetooth and wired work seamlessly The surprise benefit is that this keyboard works in Bluetooth mode to enter my password after a complete shutdown and power-up. None of the other non-Apple Bluetooth keyboards I own will do this. They work after a RESTART but not on POWER-UP. I was very impressed that they got this right. NOTE: The following was true when I wrote this review on September 5, 2024. This might sound very nitpicky, but the insert card that came with a keyboard directed me to the following website: Logickeyboard.com/shortcut There is no guide for FCPX. I emailed to inquire about this and was sent a link to the Apple website containing the 900+ page user manual. The shortcut guide is more of a nice to have, but I thought I would call it out anyway.

I really like the Apple Magic Keyboard for my use and purposes. The weight of the keyboard is more substantial than I had been led to believe, which is nice. It instantly connects to my Macbook Pro vie bluetooth, and the internal battery lasts quite a long while (after two weeks it still had over 50% of power left). I'm used to only using the keyboard on my Macbook Pro, so the Magic Keyboard is a very familiar piece of hardware for me.

This mouse and keyboard set works well. No connectivity issues and useful shortcut keys on the keyboard.

Nice keyboard. It is heavy unlike other plastic keyboards. The keys are very responsive. I like that the shortcut keys on the function keys is active instead of having to do a series of actions to use these functions. I would recommend this to anyone. Nice light functions also.

In addition to being colorful, this keyboard allows you to see immediately the shortcut for the function of Final Cut Pro X you need and add a super cool look to your mac. Very good article!

I've been using Streamdeck since I bought it! I used it for everything from editing (Keyboard? PFF Just use shortcut + streamdeck!) to checking Bitcoin price daily on their little. It's so user-friendly that it is almost unbeliveable! Click, drag and puff! You got your new personal hardware for everything you can think about.

Thin, light and responsive! This 'no frills' keyboard actually has some neat features, with very useful shortcut keys. The unifying usb receiver is low profile and synced to my logitech mouse, previously purchased. Works well!

This is a great keyboard for general purpose usage, and image editing. The keys are large and easily visible, they also feel good to push, not sponge-y but not loud and click-y either. I didn't think I'd enjoy the LED backlight for the keys, but I actually have grown to LOVE it; it's a big help when in low light areas. Only thing that could be improved upon, while it does have shortcut keys for volume, media, and some web browsing, there isn't a Sleep shortcut key (unless you re-map it). A small gripe, but I find Sleep to be more useful than web shortcuts.

Great keyboard. I really like the shortcut keys along the top. No num-lock light, but that's not usually a problem.

It's an Apple laptop. It is built well and the keyboard is nicer than her previous 7 year old MacBook. These things seem to last forever and I always feel like I get my money's worth with their products. The display is beautiful and the bezel around the perimeter is very small. You know you want it so just buy it. Her last MacBook lasted her 7 years and it is still going, she just wanted a new one. That's how well these things are built.
