My previous Mac Pro was a 2011 12 Core. I was waiting for Apple to come out with a new powerful Mac Pro that is easily expandable and customizable. I find my 2019 Mac Pro to be just that!

Upgraded my 512 drive in my 13 MacBook Pro (early 2011 model) which was having issues opening applications, and just overall sluggish performance. Installed the 850 Pro SSD and I now have what feels like a new machine. I should be able to get another 2-3 years out of the Macbook. A worthwhile investment.

Upgrading from a 2011 15 MacBook Pro. Wanted a 13 this time but didn't need the top of the line processor. Upgraded the RAM to 16GB and SSD to 512GB. So far this laptop handles everything someone would need for standard computing. Handles Xcode great.

Replaced a late 2011 MacBook Pro 13 that my wife uses and she couldn't be happier. The new thinner bezel making a larger screen and ultralight design, OS speed, battery power and a bonus of an earphone jack which my wife likes to use, just reinforces the saying Happy Wife, Happy Life! Thanks Mac and thanks B&H for your great customer service and pricing.

Bought this applecare for my 2011 15 Macbook Pro from B&H which was about $200 cheaper than buying it directly from Apple. Nice.

They say it would work on a late 2011 MacBook Pro. It does.

I wanted to buy a Mac Mini, but my budget was limited. I finally decided on a model with a 6-core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD. The unit was on sale at B&H for $999, a saving of $100. The SSD size is fine--I can expand storage with the use of external SSDs, which are becoming increasingly affordable. I wanted more RAM, but that gets expensive at Apple's prices. Then, on checkout, B&H offered me 32 GB of RAM (to replace the existing 8 GB) for $128. That looked appealing, but, klutz that I am, I was unwilling to open up my new computer and try to install the RAM myself. Then I saw that B&H would install the RAM for me for $40. And, since their techs are Apple-certified, the installation would not void my Apple warranty. I went for it. Bottom line: I got a Mac Mini with a 6-core i5 processor, 32 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD for $1167. A Mac Mini identically preconfigured by Apple would have cost me $1699. I saved $532 (31 percent).
