The Apple 14 MacBook Pro with M2 Max processor has been fantastic so far. Nice keyboard and sound, sharp display, quick and long battery life. Compared to my old Macbook Pro 13 with an Intel processor, this machine runs circles around it and doesn't even need to be plugged into power to do it. I was a bit worried about compatibility with the ARM based processor and some of my software but everything I use has worked either natively or with Rosetta 2 which has been seamless.

I bought the 14 Macbook Pro with the M2 Pro chip new from B&H while they were running a decent sale due availability of newer models. This was purchased as an upgrade to an old Thinkpad with a dying battery and there's a lot to love about the new machine. MacOS is a dream compared to Windows in my opinion and the small and lightweight form factor of the 14 Macbook makes it ultra portable and easy to carry around with me everywhere. I haven't put it through rigorous stress testing yet by spinning up any development environments but for light personal usage the battery has been incredible.

The new Apple 16 MacBook Pro (M3 Max, Space Black) is the fastest MacBook Pro yet with the M3 Max setup. I went with 64 GB Memory and 2 TB Storage. The new Space Black is very cool as well. This new MacBook replaces my 1-1/2 year old M2 Max with same memory and storage. I would have to run benchmarks to tell the difference. The M2 Max was also blazing fast.

I’m running this beautiful monitor from a 2023 MacBook Pro, with the Apple M2 Pro chip, and couldn’t be happier. Installation was simplicity itself. It is positioned at a ninety-degree angle to a very large east-facing window, and the standard glass performs brilliantly for me, without glare or annoying reflections. Right now its peace of mind, knowing that if something happens to it, I'm covered. I received the coverage and policy number in an email. I've made copies and stored them on the cloud so I can find it later if I need it. I mention this because I didn't receive the red and white AppleCare+ box that one could store with the rest of your computer records. You have to find a safe and memorable place so you can locate it later.
