Apple Macbook Pro 15 Laptop 2.4Ghz Core I5

This Mac Pro works much faster than my 15 inch Macbook Pro. Its 4 core processing power makes my photo-editing so much easier. I am able to move back and forth between my Adobe applications with no slow-down. I would definitely suggest the Mac Pro to anyone who needs dependability for their photo or video business.

I wanted to buy a Mac Mini, but my budget was limited. I finally decided on a model with a 6-core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD. The unit was on sale at B&H for $999, a saving of $100. The SSD size is fine--I can expand storage with the use of external SSDs, which are becoming increasingly affordable. I wanted more RAM, but that gets expensive at Apple's prices. Then, on checkout, B&H offered me 32 GB of RAM (to replace the existing 8 GB) for $128. That looked appealing, but, klutz that I am, I was unwilling to open up my new computer and try to install the RAM myself. Then I saw that B&H would install the RAM for me for $40. And, since their techs are Apple-certified, the installation would not void my Apple warranty. I went for it. Bottom line: I got a Mac Mini with a 6-core i5 processor, 32 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD for $1167. A Mac Mini identically preconfigured by Apple would have cost me $1699. I saved $532 (31 percent).

I was a little concerned about choosing the i5 quad core processor over the i7 that I had in my previous HP computer as I utilize a few adobe programs at a time. So far, I have no complaints with the overall speed, and can't really tell a difference. The screen is also smaller than my last which I was worried would be an issue but I honestly love the portability of this computer!  The Touch Bar is actually way cooler than I ever expected it to be, I think Mac has done a poor job of promoting its capability. And the integration with my iPhone is really awesome. They work together seamlessly and made setup a breeze as it sent a lot of data over to my computer. I was a little disappointed that it took longer to ship out than originally advertised especially since I chose to buy through B&H specifically because they had the earliest arrival date. I ultimately lost out on an entire day of work which cost me additional money, but considering the current climate, I understand and prefer to support local business over large chains. I've only had great experiences with B&H thus far. I just hope in the end this laptop outlasts my previous (also very expensive) laptop. Only time will tell.

I purchased a refurbished 15 Macbook Pro from Apple and did not get the Apple Care warranty with the computer. This place has the best price and saved me $100 on the agreement price. It registered with no issues. I can tell you that it is rare that Apple stuff goes bad but when it does, you will be glad you got this. I am not sure how BH does it, but glad they do. If I am ever in the market for a new Macbook in the future, I will shop here first.

We used this with our 15 MacBook Pro with Apple Display set up. Not only this is convenient for design work, when we are using Excel spread sheet, it enables us to navigate all directions quickly. So convenient!

Registered my new MacBook Pro 15 (non-retina) with this 3-Year Applecare Protection Plan, and received a registration certificate confirmation back from Apple within a few hours. I believe that Apple recently raised the price of AppleCare for MBP's to cover the less repair-friendly retina display models, but the older AppleCare plan (good until they're gone) worked just fine and saved a bundle!

Ordered this package for my new MacBook Pro 15. The package arrived quickly, and I activated it with my MacBook Pro's serial number without any problems. A week later I received a letter from Apple letting me know that I was signed up for the AppleCare. Great product and an excellent price! Will be buying it from B&H again if I buy another Apple computer.
