Apple Macbook Pro 15.4 Laptop Reviews

I upgraded from 2012 15.4 MacBook Pro, which still runs well but I needed the latest for my consulting project. This laptop is beastly in its speed and processing power. Display is superb and the battery life is 20+ hours every single time. I look forward to carrying this laptop without power cord when I am at clients' site or on the road. I am a management consult and hence usually use office productivity apps but I will need some serious processing power for database and BI apps like PowerBI and Tableaux. I think I have 10 times the processing power I will need. The price is high but in terms of value, it's going to be as good as 2012 MacBook Pro, which still is very good, after 11 years! So, this is a steal for those who are looking for the state of the art technology and the best long-term value!

I'm not quite sure if I just got a great one compared to all these other reviews, but this product is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Connects perfectly to my MacBook Pro. I don't get any looseness or cheap vibe from it. Could Apple have made it better? Sure. But for me, a photographer who needed these ports for SD cards, External Hard Drives, and the ability to charge my phone at the same time...ITS GREAT! Plus it looks like it's supposed to be made by Apple and looks great on my computer. 5/5 for sure.

This product works great for me. I run an Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer, I run a RodeCasterPro II Podcast Studio and I charge several Sony camera batteries for my Still and Cinema Line camcorders with precision high speed charging. I am extremely impressed with this product.

Why, oh why do I have to be an Apple fanboy? It's so unattractive. But look. As a MacBook Pro user who has his laptop hooked up to a monitor, I do need an external keyboard. After Apple ditched the wired version, I refused to indulge them on their wireless shenanigans, and went for a third party product. Big surprise: It's not as good. Not as expensive, for sure, but saving forty dollars is not a bargain if you're constantly unhappy. And keys that won't respond, or are in the SLIGHTLY wrong position, or don't give your fingertips the right feedback, are like a pebble in your shoe. Gotta spring for the real deal. So far, it's still running on its first charge, so I can't even really complain about the wireless thing. You win again, evil empire.

When you buy a MacBook Pro it comes in exceptionally nice sturdy packaging. The packaging is meant to not only hold the laptop firmly and safely in place it also holds the wall charger as well as an extension cord for the wall charger designed for a standard 3-prong wall socket. With this Pelican case you can remove the appropriate foam within the Pelican case in order to set the MacBook Pro packaging (i.e. the box the computer comes in) right in the center of the case. See attached pictures. Fits perfectly and with just the Apple packaging showing in the foam it looks ultra professional. Yet everything is sitting in the packaging as it comes from Apple. No need to cut out multiple pieces of foam in order for the laptop and included items. Simply cut out a rectangular chunk the size of the Apple packaging and you're good to go!! Sure it's only a case but I love it! I take excellent care of what I own and the laptop gets carried around every day and there is no worry about damaging it any longer. Combine the above by making the purchase through B&H and you're ready to travel without fear.

This laptop stand is the perfect compliment to any MacBook Pro when it's being used on a desk. I'm using it with Apple Pro Apps all day, and having my MacBook Pro elevated helps keep everything running cool. The elevated screen also makes viewing more comfortable.
