I used it to upgrade my MacBook Pro early 2011. My computer feels now like a new computer. I think I have a computer for 4 years more. The performance so fast is incredible. I use my computer for scientific purposes with lots of calculations and reading and writing. I think this was the best option to go. 5 |

Upgraded my 512 drive in my 13 MacBook Pro (early 2011 model) which was having issues opening applications, and just overall sluggish performance. Installed the 850 Pro SSD and I now have what feels like a new machine. I should be able to get another 2-3 years out of the Macbook. A worthwhile investment. 5 |

I bought this for my wife who used a MacBook Pro for years; 2011 17’ which still works, but is too big sometimes. Since I purchased this iPad, she literally hasn’t touched the MacBook Pro…at all!
