Apple Macbook Pro 2010 Battery Replacement

Apple no longer provided a battery option for my mid 2010 MacBook Pro, however the Apple Genius recommended B & H for a replacement. It fit perfectly and the instructions and included tools were perfect.

Just installed this battery on my mid 2010 MacBook Pro 17". Followed directions for installing on a YouTube video for this model. The battery came with tools so it was very easy to install. I followed the product's instructions for calibrating the new battery. I'm getting about 4 to 5 hours of use with this battery. I don't use the laptop on battery that often but it's good to know I have more time when needed (was getting about 20 minutes on the old original battery). Hopefully the usage time of the battery will last for a while.

I used it for my MacBook Pro 15 (Mid 2010), worked perfectly.

Loved my 2012 MacBook Pro, I really stressed over a replacement - initially ordered 2018 MB Air from B&H which arrived damaged and did re-think. It did feel like a hasty compromise when I ordered the MBA. I thought about how I used my 2012 MBP - mostly in one location and plugged into an outlet. The intrigue of the Mac Mini bit and stuck. I wanted BT 5.0 and that wasn't MADE available by Apple at the time. I liked the specs 3.0 chip, 256 GB etc and paired with Apple keyboard and mouse due to review complaints about connectivity with both devices. If there was an issue I would deliver all to the local Apple store and they could sort it out. I was really perplexed by Apple butterfly keyboard mechanism issues on their labtop line and their 4 year extended keyboard warranty from product introduction will roll around quickly. So Mac Mini with it's compromises (quiet speaker volume, no FaceTime camera or microphone) was decided and the last hurdle was finding a smaller display so I did not accidently knock it over. There are essentially 2 decent quality 14-16

Bought this for my 13' MacBook Pro (2010 Model) and registration was a breeze!... B&H had the best price I've seen for this product. Bought it for about $190 (sealed, new) whereas Apple has it for $250....All in all, I'd buy from B&H. This was my first purchase from them and it definitely won't be my last. I'm telling all my friends and family about B&H!

I like how Apple went with the design of the new MacBook Pro M3. Super fast with an amazing battery. I'm glad to see that they added the MagSafe port again.

I bought this replacement battery for my MacBook Pro (17-inch, Mid 2010) after my Mac stopped working with the original battery. The lap top would only work (and not very well) when attached to a power source. I was happy to find that it fit perfectly after reading some reviews that said that it didn't. It was easy to replace and came with the tools. I can now use my lap top without it being plugged in which, turns out, is pretty handy.
