Apple Macbook Pro 250Gb Hard Drive

I ordered an external hard drive for my new Apple MacBook Pro to store my photos on when traveling. This HD has rugged in it's name and certainly stands up to the name. I have only set it up and not used it yet, but if it performs as well as my other four LaCie external hard drives, it will be an investment well worth the money I paid for it.

This cable is used with the external hard drive that backs up my MacBook Pro.

I used this to transfer data from my old laptop Hard drive to my new one for my Macbook Pro early 2011. The adapter made data transfer so easy and took the guessing game out and worry out. I had no data loss and you could not even tell once the transfer was complete that you even switched hard drives. It's just like there was a hard drive in there all this time. The only issue I had was since my laptop runs on usb 2.0 the transfer was slower but if I had a usb 3.0 connection I'm sure the speed would have been quicker.

I use this to back up the hard drive on my 2019 MacBook Pro and it just works... Perfect in both size and capacity....

I was using a 1TB hard drive for my old iMac which had a 250gb HD. This year I upgraded to a new machine which has a 2TB SSD and ran out of space on the old external so this 6TB drive is everything I'll need for a backup disk, at a great price. Setup was easy. I had to reformat to Mac OS Extended (Journaled), but Disk Utility makes that super easy, let it run backup overnight while the machine was in sleep mode, and everything is running great. There's definitely peace of mind in having all of my data backed up.

I had an old 250GB Western Digital hard drive from about 4 years ago that ran out of space so I needed a larger one. I have always had good experiences with Western Digital so this hard drive is perfect for photographers and mac users! Very small, just plug it in and it's ready to use.

I replaced a 250gb hard drive in an old 2760P running 64-bit Windows 10 Pro. The drive was cloned using Paragon HD 15 and secured using Bitlocker. The old 2760P is humming along nicely now. Sandisk has software that you can download to trim the disk and keep track of wear, etc. Great price and fast delivery from my favorite online store, B&H!!!!!!

Bought this to replace a 250Gb mechanical hard drive which was about 8 years old. A similar drive had just failed in another computer. Cloned the working drive to this one, and after boot up, the computer looks just as it did! Boots up much faster now. Good price too, because of the smaller capacity.

This is a typical Apple dongle which does what it’s supposed to, namely connect my Apple optical drive to my new MacBook Pro. As is everything made by Apple, cheaper adapters can be had, more so now that USB C is becoming increasingly common in non-Apple brand equipment.

I'm using this with my new Apple MacBook Pro Retina. The USB 3.0 is blazing fast. Copying files to and from the Mac's built-in SSD is very quick. The drive is quiet and discreet. I like this drive so far.
