I took a chance on this lens for no other reason than I liked the specs. A 35-150 2.0-2.8 is a great walk-around lens size. It is a bit heavy, but that is to be expected. It is well-balanced, focuses quickly on a Sony AR7V, and takes nice images. If I had a wish, it would be to make this a 24mm-150mm. 35mm is a bit restrictive, but not super bad. The attached image was shot at 7.1 and is not retouched short of sizing. Bokeh is nice for 7.1. The flowers are sharp and image between shadow and light is nicely balanced. If you're looking for a good lens, (not cheap) but not super expensive too. I would recommend this guy. 5 |
