Apple Macbook Pro Air 2014 Specs

Replaced my 2014 MacBook Pro with this beauty! I appreciated the $100 discounted price the PayBoo sales tax discount! That roughly $200 savings made it worth waiting a few days to get it, instead of picking it up immediately from the Apple Store. Apple B&H are a winning combo. I plan to buy all my Apple devices here in the future. Simple setup of my MacBook using my TimeMachine backup. I was using my new machine quickly.

I bought this for my new Apple MacBook Pro 16.2 M1 Series 2021 Laptop. The computer is slightly thicker than my Apple MacBook Pro 15.4 Mid 2014 laptop. My Mid 2014 fits perfectly but the new 16 M1 2021 will fit but the tension on the zipper is more than what I am comfortable with. I will use it with my 15 when I want to go in style or incognito. I do think it is a piece of art in a way. I really hate for it to get scuffed up using it but I do take care of my stuff. I've used another brand of harder case for my 15 and had to get the same brand for my 16 not knowing when I ordered this that one was available. I will NOT be returning this because it is just too nice and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Again: You 16 will fit but it is a very tight squeeze that I feel might make the zipper give out prematurely for some people that do not take excessive care of their property. Otherwise its feel and look are unique and exclusive. Great way to hide your goods in a bookcase if needed.

I was hesitant for a while to get this MacBook Pro instead of a MacBook Air but so far I love it! It has all the specs that I need on a daily basics and still light enough to carry around.

After six years of MacBook Pro's, I decided I no longer needed the firepower of those very fine machines and opted for the Air in part because I could not find anyone who could tell me anything bad or even slightly wimpy re the 2020 Air. The other part that prompted the switch was that demand for the Air appeared to persuade Apple to stick with something they pioneered but seemed to have fallen out of love with. If so many people continued to buy Air's even when not a lot of innovation was being invested in them, then who am I to ignore what the market was saying about the device. And the machine is light, fast, and has enough juice to keep an old guy like me chugging away in my eighth decade. (Yep, I am heading toward 71 in a few months.) The point here is that Apple continues to make very good devices that outlast the competition and meet lots of peoples' needs for computing, communication and creativity, even for old farts such as I who started a thousand years ago with PCs and see the Air as my buddy for quite a few years to come.

I have an older 2014 MacBook Air & updated it earlier this year which resulted in my mac running slower than before the update. I decided to purchase a new battery to fix this problem. Shipping was fast & it's been a week with the new battery and have noticed a big difference in my battery life. The install process was simple, took less than 30 minutes. So far so good!

I am very happy with my new MacBook Air. Previously used a 2014 model Air and this one is so much faster and the screen is much nicer. Also enjoy the convenience of having Touch ID. The price was the lowest I found plus it included free overnight shipping. Definitely a plus-plus!
