Worked like a charm on my 2008 early MacBook Pro. After cloning the old hdd to the new ssd, installation was easy. Read and write speed is like day and night. I also increased RAM ordered through B&H. It’s like a new laptop. Thank you. 5 |

Installed this SSD in my late 2013 MacBook Pro. Needed to install in the computer then install the original Apple SSD in the OWC carrier. Then boot holding the option key. This booted the computer with the Apple SSD. Then used OWC recommended carbon copy to clone the OWCSSD. This worked great. It’s been three weeks and all is good. It’s great that OWC have a five year warranty on this drive. 5 |

i used it to replace my SSD for my macbook pro late 2013 with retina that got water damage, it works great. but as usual the read and write speeds are lower than advertised. it came well packaged, so that's great for a fragile package. 5 |

This USB SuperDrive by Apple burns fast and plays well. Being USB, it's extremely portable. Before you purchase, make sure you're computer is compatible. Compatible with the following computers: MacBook Pro with Retina display MacBook Air iMac (late 2012) and later Mac mini (late 2009) and later Mac Pro (late 2013) This could save you some heartache if you have an older Mac Pro with a bum DVD burner. 5 |

I got this for a late 2013 Macbook Pro with a 15 Retina Display and I am NOW COVERED BY APPLE CARE! This is the same protection you would get from Apple except it is $$ cheaper! BUY IT NOW! 5 |

Worked on my Late-2013 MacBook Pro 13 Retina display. I had to call apple care since my purchase date was not reflecting in their system. (I purchased the laptop from @). 5 |

They say it would work on a late 2011 MacBook Pro. It does. 5 |

I'm using this inside of my mid 2015 MacBook Pro with an NVMe to Apple SSD adapter, and it's working very well. It's very fast, definitely faster than the stock Apple SSD, and with its large capacity and high endurance rating, I expect it to last quite a long time. This is a double sided M2 drive, so the larger version of the NVMe to Apple SSD drive adapter (with its larger PCB) does not fit this drive properly, but the smaller adapter (which is basically just a short connector) fits a MacBook Pro really well. For normal uses outside of a MacBook, this is a standard size double sided M2 drive, so these odd details are probably of no consequence to anyone else, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. I've been very happy with the FireCuda 520 drives in the past, and the 530 is just as nice, and even faster. I can't wait until the 4TB versions become more available and more affordable. Totally happy with this drive! 5 |
