Adds flexibility and capacity for a MacBook Pro M1 Max

Purchased the 1TB model for my 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max. Fits perfectly. stays connected when computer sleeps, available when re-starting. Using this for Time Machine backups and it works flawlessly.

I have a MacBook Pro 16 (M1 Max) and connecting the Cal Digit TS4 docking station takes it to another level. Fantastic bandwidth speed, all the ports connect and works well with the laptop. Must have to truly enabling top tier performance. You will not be disappointed!

Everything works as expected with Macbook Pro M1 Max so far (about a month of use). Haven't experienced any sleep mode issues with external hdd ejecting. Also works very well with Samsung Neo G9 monitor. No complaints so far!

I use this SSD to back up my Macbook Pro M1 Max. It works well. The cheaper, smaller, and older, Extreme model works just as well for my purpose. Had I known that I would just have purchased 2 SSD's of the Extreme model.

I'm using this drive to off-load all the movies and video from my MacBook Pro M1 Max 2021. The combo of this new computer with this 2TB SSD drive is amazing. I moved about 100 movies at a total of 250 meg and it was done faster than I could click to drag the next movie across. Fastest transfers I've ever seen. I also have a Sandisk 1TB non-pro and this new one is night and day faster. Silent, super fast, and an extremely good value. Just buy it.

I use this as a second drive for data on my older MacBook Pro early 2015 and also with my MacBook Pro M1 Max, both equipped with a side SD Card slot. Perfect to store data and we even edit video on them, although haven't tired multcam yet.

I owned a 2021 M1 Pro Max MacBook Pro with 64 GB of RAM and decided to get the latest high end MacBook Pro with an M3 CPU. So far I am happy with my choice of color and memory (black and 48 GB). I haven’t had it for long but all the apps I need are fast and I will skip the M4 and get the M5 just like I skipped the M2. I recommend this to any serious developer and content creator.

So far, this thing has been amazing. Using it with a 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Max and Adobe Premiere Pro - using 4K footage. I have the 1TB Extreme version from a couple years ago and it's always been very fast and solid, but the PRO V2 just takes it to another level. I'm not sure how the exact numbers hold up, as I don't test that, but I'm glad I got it.
