Apple Macbook Pro M2 2022

The Apple 14 MacBook Pro with M2 Max processor has been fantastic so far. Nice keyboard and sound, sharp display, quick and long battery life. Compared to my old Macbook Pro 13 with an Intel processor, this machine runs circles around it and doesn't even need to be plugged into power to do it. I was a bit worried about compatibility with the ARM based processor and some of my software but everything I use has worked either natively or with Rosetta 2 which has been seamless.

The new Apple 16 MacBook Pro (M3 Max, Space Black) is the fastest MacBook Pro yet with the M3 Max setup. I went with 64 GB Memory and 2 TB Storage. The new Space Black is very cool as well. This new MacBook replaces my 1-1/2 year old M2 Max with same memory and storage. I would have to run benchmarks to tell the difference. The M2 Max was also blazing fast.

I’m running this beautiful monitor from a 2023 MacBook Pro, with the Apple M2 Pro chip, and couldn’t be happier. Installation was simplicity itself. It is positioned at a ninety-degree angle to a very large east-facing window, and the standard glass performs brilliantly for me, without glare or annoying reflections. The Nano Texture glass would have been an unnecessary expenditure in this particular situation. My order was filled within hours, and arrived overnight with free shipping. Perfect.

This is three years of insurance for my new 2022 MacBook Air M2. I won't know how well it works unless my computer breaks, so it's hard to write a review. Right now its peace of mind, knowing that if something happens to it, I'm covered. I received the coverage and policy number in an email. I've made copies and stored them on the cloud so I can find it later if I need it. I mention this because I didn't receive the red and white AppleCare+ box that one could store with the rest of your computer records. You have to find a safe and memorable place so you can locate it later.

The overall design of the laptop is sleek and lightweight, making it perfect for taking on the go. The battery life is also impressive, lasting me through a full workday with ease. One of my favorite features of the MacBook Air 2022 is the improved keyboard. The new Magic Keyboard is a game changer and typing on it is a joy. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor is also a convenient addition that adds an extra layer of security. In terms of storage, the 256B SSD provides plenty of space for all of my files and documents. The overall build quality of the MacBook Air is top-notch and I have no doubt it will last me for many years to come. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase of the MacBook Air 2022 and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new laptop.
