I needed this particular cable type to connect my mid-2010 MacBook Pro with an ASUS HD monitor. This was one of the few that wasn't 6' or longer. This is just right for me. It works perfectly. Just installed this battery on my mid 2010 MacBook Pro 17". Followed directions for installing on a YouTube video for this model. The battery came with tools so it was very easy to install. I followed the product's instructions for calibrating the new battery. I'm getting about 4 to 5 hours of use with this battery. I don't use the laptop on battery that often but it's good to know I have more time when needed (was getting about 20 minutes on the old original battery). Hopefully the usage time of the battery will last for a while. 5 |
