Apple Macbook Pro Mid 2015 Display Ports

The monitor was easy to hook up and get connected to my mid-2015 MacBook Pro (although I did have to go into the monitor settings and choose HDMI as that was not the default). As a graphic designer the color has nice depth and accuracy (in the sRGB color space) so it definitely fit the bill for my needs and price point. It also looks nice.

Worked well with my Macbook pro (mid 2015) which I bought from B&H. I like that I have covered my pricey laptop just in case.

I replaced my MacBook Pro 15 Mid-2015/512GB SSD/16GB RAM/AMD M370X 2GB Graphics with this one. At the beginning, I was afraid I would miss all the specs of the old one, but I've been loving it ever since. Even with 8 apps opened at the same time and a bunch of tasks to do, it has proven fast enough, extremely worthy of its price and the battery is great for daily average to intense use. I would recommend it for most of the people, specially college students.

Apple now does not offer many options for Ports ( on new MacBook Pro)... only USB-C on its new Lap tops ....so if you have a new MacBook Pro you will need this . Other laptops and of course iMacs have USB-A ports .. so I have a new 16'' MacBook Pro and need to have access to ports other than only USB-C. Also there is no card slot ... beware.Get one if necessary. I also got a SuperDrive ... no longer an option on new Macs.

Using this hub to get additional ports for my 2015 MacBook pro retina. It works as advertised and provided me with the additional ports I needed for all my peripherals.

This works perfectly with my old Apple HD Display and my new MacBook Pro.

I bought this to use with my 2015 Macbook pro 15 and it works as intended (Full res 75Hz, sRGB mode) with a thunderbolt to display port cable. Colors are as accurate as my mac display although the mac might have just a little more contrast but in day to day usage, you really won't notice. Ergonomics gets a 10/10 and I've set this up at full stand height with vertical arrangement of the two displays. Didn't go for the PA278CV since my laptop doesn't have a USB-C port, it's pricier and the display panel is more or less the same. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend if you want a monitor for productivity and content creation.

Replaced my 2015 macbook pro after the display finally gave out. This new macbook pro is outstanding. The screen and speakers are amazing and it is super fast. I really like the new black color and that it has HDMI, SD, and USB C ports. It's a great upgrade.

I had a mid-2017 MacBook Pro 13 that was still in great condition (and thank you B&H/Phobio for a great recycle price!) but was coming to the end of Apple Care. I wanted to keep the touch bar (unlike the prevailing consensus I love it) and do not need the additional ports that are reportedly coming in the new MBPs this year with the M1x/M2 chips. The new keyboard is great, very good travel, the Escape key is back, but it is totally true that the performance and battery life are INCREDIBLE. Apps, especially Apple Apps like Safari, Mail, Calendar, and Music open instantaneously (one bounce on the Dock or less). I have not done any heavy-lifting like video processing or photo editing yet but this is a great machine that I expect will last me another three years. I highly recommend getting 16GB of RAM as Big Sur wants to run in 8GB of space!
