Apple Macbook Pro Retina 2012 Ssd

I’ve been rocking a 2012 MacBook Pro retina that was on its last leg and desperately needed to upgrade. I have no idea why I waited so long. The MacBook Air M2 16gb RAM is a speedster, makes zero noise, and hasn’t heated up at all when having multiple programs, tabs, etc. up at once. I’m using it mainly for data analysis and creating music, and not once has it had a hiccup. I was hesitant to order from B&H since I wasn’t familiar with them, but customer service was ultra responsive. I was worried about returns if there was an hardware issue, but they reassured me I could exchange it if something was wrong. Also great to get it shipped quickly and with a discount compared to other retailers. I would definitely recommend them if you’re in the market.

Cool, quiet, quick and compact. Editing 4k on my 2012 Retina MacBook Pro without a hitch. For when you need to edit a lot of footage in a small footprint, this is the drive to get. Highly recommended.

I installed this SSD in a mid-2012 Macbook Pro 13" version 9,2 model. Wow! I became a big fan of SSD drives with my new iMac and the MacBook was looking so pokey in comparison. Now my MacBook has new life, amazingly faster performance. It's the best speed upgrade I have ever experienced with a product. I'm running High Sierra on this book with no glitches. Has 16 gb ram. I highly recommend this especially because new Macbooks are so pricey and Apple has taken away ports I use in the new models, such as Ethernet, DVD drive, Firewire. It's a new machine again. Just be aware you will want to partition the drive with the new Apple APFS as it will not work with GUID. I then migrated my software with Apple migration assistant with only minor glitches to some software icons. Those I fixed by booting in safe mode, then back to normal mode.

My 2012 MacBook Pro is now new again.

i used it to replace my SSD for my macbook pro late 2013 with retina that got water damage, it works great. but as usual the read and write speeds are lower than advertised. it came well packaged, so that's great for a fragile package.

It is Better than internal SSD in my MacBook Pro (Mid 2012). It may give the best solution for storage your music.

The SanDisk SSD has stabilized my 2012 MacBook Pro and stopped the spinning beach ball. I am using Photoshop and two other photo retouch programs at the same time and I am pleased with the performance and it helps with the speed.
