Apple Macbook Pro Warranty Period

I love my macbook but it had few issues during the warranty period. Apple care will give me peace of mind for the next 2 years and from B and H you get in instantly and for $$cheaper. I love this deal!

I purchased a refurbished 15 Macbook Pro from Apple and did not get the Apple Care warranty with the computer. This place has the best price and saved me $100 on the agreement price. It registered with no issues. I can tell you that it is rare that Apple stuff goes bad but when it does, you will be glad you got this. I am not sure how BH does it, but glad they do. If I am ever in the market for a new Macbook in the future, I will shop here first.

To buy an expensive Macbook Pro and then not get the extended Apple warranty is a big mistake. Problems rarely occur during the first year of operation. The second and third year are another story. I see this sold everywhere else for the full $349 price. It was $normally and when purchased at the same time as the Macbook Pro it was only $! No need to ask twice, this is an amazing deal. And it is the real Apple warranty!

I decided to purchase the Apple Care for my new MacBook Pro with Retina Display because it'll just give me a peace of mind. I had purchased Apple Care for my previous PowerBook G4 and it was totally worth it! It paid for itself indeed. You never know what faulty parts can come along in the future and this 3 year warranty really helps. I got to use my previous warranty when my PowerBook's motherboard decided not to work a few years later and then to replace the battery that didn't hold its charge towards the end of the warranty. Just with these two things it was way more money than what I had paid for the extra warranty. You just never know what can go wrong with a computer so it never hurts to have warranty on something expensive.

Use the MacBook Pro you're trying to extend the warranty on and the additional 2 years is automatically added to your Apple ID.

I always buy AppleCare for my Apple products - it extends the warranty and tech support period and to me has always been worth it. If you have one little hardware problems these days it's very expensive to get it repaired!

The first MacBook I received had an issue with the trackpad. I was considering taking it to Apple, but since I was within the return period, B&H shipped me a replacement with no problem. The laptop has been great ever since and running smooth. These M2 chips are fast!
