As an engineer I can tell you the USB standard is way too general. There are so many variables. When you connect any USB device to any other USB device a little dance is performed. The device which is plugged in will ask who are you?, Device says I am XYZ and used for XYZ purpose. My version is XYZ, and I am brand XYZ. The computer, or iPhone will decide if it wants to let the device continue to do its task (charge, bluetooth, video, etc) For charging, speed is always best. You might think you saved a lot of money Not buying Apple branded cables or power adapters. But think again. Third party tests are out there showing hard data for using third party chargers/cable combinations. Test results for.. Apple charger with Apple Cable Samsung charger with Apple Cable Apple charger with Samsung Cable Other charger with other cable etc. The studies always show Apple charger with Apple Cable is the only combination which works as fast as possible (i.e. Meets the claims Apple makes). Important: If you are going to buy a third party cable or power adapter, look for a label Made for iPhone, Made for iPad (MFi Certified). This way you know the metal leads, voltages, and that little dance all have been looked at by Apple. 5 |

Looking for a monitor with single cable hook up to Apple MacBook that can supply power at a reasonable price and gave this a try. This monitor is a great option. Monitor has lots of motion, up/down and tilt. Has power delivery USB-C and includes additional USB-Cs unlike the LG-ULTRAFINE. Picture quality is excellent. This is definitely a winner. 5 |

useful cable now that Apple went with type C. A must for using the other stuff that have regular USB 5 |

This is essentially the same cable apple includes with an iPhone and iPad. If you're going to use it to charge and iPhone or iPad, make sure you have a USB adapter you can plug into an outlet. It's MFI certified which is certification for compatibility with Apple products. The cable is a little less flexible than Apple's cable. This might be due to a thicker and sturdier outer jacket which would make this cable a little more durable than the Apple cable. 5 |

Apple now does not offer many options for Ports ( on new MacBook Pro)... only USB-C on its new Lap tops ....so if you have a new MacBook Pro you will need this . Other laptops and of course iMacs have USB-A ports .. so I have a new 16'' MacBook Pro and need to have access to ports other than only USB-C. Also there is no card slot ... beware.Get one if necessary. I also got a SuperDrive ... no longer an option on new Macs. 5 |

I bought this Charger Cube because my camera battery charger only came with a USB cable for plugging into a computer's USB socket for 5 VDC power. The 2.4 amp capacity of the Charger Cube was perfect for the application. And since the AC plug folds flat into the Charger Cube, storage inside my small battery charger pouch is a perfect fit. I highly recommend this Charger Cube. 5 |

Every time I bring my MacBook to work, I always have to bring the original little white Apple adapter, plug it in back and forth to home-work, work-home... Well, those days are over. Now, I can leave the Xcellon 100W USB-C Universal AC Adapter permanently on my desk at work while the original Apple charger is stored in the laptop's case to take it anywhere else. The original Apple charger is only 30 watts, which I also used it for other USB-C PD devices, but the Xcellon for being 100 watts, is much better. It will deliver intelligently up to 100 watts to whatever device that needs that much current, like a bigger laptop or an V-Mount battery and will also safely charge my MacBook to only supplying the appropriate current it needs. Nothing more. That's what PD means: "Power Delivery". Very happy with it, it does what it's supposed to and now I have two ways to charge my laptop. Also, it features a built-In Circuit Protection Circuitry, and if you live in a country that is 220 volts, the charger automatically switches to the appropriate wattage (110/220), no problem. Just plug it in and forget it... [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5 |

When you buy a MacBook Pro it comes in exceptionally nice sturdy packaging. The packaging is meant to not only hold the laptop firmly and safely in place it also holds the wall charger as well as an extension cord for the wall charger designed for a standard 3-prong wall socket. With this Pelican case you can remove the appropriate foam within the Pelican case in order to set the MacBook Pro packaging (i.e. the box the computer comes in) right in the center of the case. See attached pictures. Fits perfectly and with just the Apple packaging showing in the foam it looks ultra professional. Yet everything is sitting in the packaging as it comes from Apple. No need to cut out multiple pieces of foam in order for the laptop and included items. Simply cut out a rectangular chunk the size of the Apple packaging and you're good to go!! Sure it's only a case but I love it! I take excellent care of what I own and the laptop gets carried around every day and there is no worry about damaging it any longer. Combine the above by making the purchase through B&H and you're ready to travel without fear. 5 |

This is a very nicely made charger and will keep all of your devices charged. I have tested it on my 16 Apple Silicon MacBook Pro. It will charge the MacBook Pro at 100 Watts so it can also handle an iPhone, Watch and iPad. Very compact and the 6 foot extension cord is a great idea as it makes it easy to use for international travel. 5 |
