I updated from a 2014 iMac to a 2019 with 128GB of ram, but my trusty keyboard that has stuck with me through two computers wouldn’t work.. Having both USB-C and USB -A connectors make this a much more versatile drive. Many new computers have USB-C ports but many have only USB-A. This drive makes it easy to share files form my MacBook Pro with only C ports with others who have only A ports. 5 |

PROS: This easy to install and use KVM Switch enables my two computers to share the same monitor/mouse/keyboard. I can change between the two computers by pressing the hot-key twice OR by simply pressing the button on the switch itself. It uses USB plugs, the choice all computers use today. CONS: The cute box is so small it must use 3 of its 4 sides to plug in all the cables making it take up too much space. If all cable inputs were on the same side, all wires could be strapped together enabling the unit to be more conveniently accessible. 5 |
