Registered my new MacBook Pro 15 (non-retina) with this 3-Year Applecare Protection Plan, and received a registration certificate confirmation back from Apple within a few hours. I believe that Apple recently raised the price of AppleCare for MBP's to cover the less repair-friendly retina display models, but the older AppleCare plan (good until they're gone) worked just fine and saved a bundle! 5 |

I upgraded from a 2019 Intel 15 inch MacBook Pro, to this M2 15 Inch MacBook Air and I love it! This Mac doesn't need fans at all, and it is faster than my previous 2019 MBP! These M series chips are great, and well worth the money! I have done some video editing using Final Cut Pro and photo editing using Photoshop, and this M2 MBA handles it like a champ! Protection plans aren't very exciting, but I did manage to get some valuable use out of the protection plan I purchased years ago for my mid 2010 MacBook Pro when its motherboard developed some cold solder joint problems and needed to be replaced just as the plan was running out. I'm typing this on my new 14 inch MacBook Pro which I just purchased to replace that mid 2010 MacBook Pro that I have used daily for almost 12 years. Purchasing the protection plan was worth it. 5 |
