Apple Refurbished Model Numbers

This new set looks better than the ones I have been using for several years. I like having 4 numbers better than the 3 number model that you can buy anywhere. 5 |

To be on the safe side since there were no reviews available at the time I purchased these chips, I checked with three B&H reps to make sure they were compatible with my new 2017 iMac before purchasing them. Once they arrived, I popped out the two 4GB stock chips that came with the iMac (now being sold on eBay) and installed two sets of these chips (4x16) and they work flawlessly. A word to the wise...don't be confused by the other Crucial chips with varying model numbers on B&H's site that say the exact same thing that may also say Mac and/or have to be special ordered for significantly more money. Even Crucial's own web site has different model numbers for this exact same product that I purchased that cost more than these. It doesn't make sense. Even one of the B&H reps I chatted with couldn't make sense out of it. Go with these...you won't be disappointed. 5 |

Know your model numbers. 15x10-6 is 15x10x6 interior of the case including the lid. I did not purchase the organizer because it allows a more sandwiched fit, but you decide your needs. Unbelievable quality and American made. 5 |

I had been eyeing this particular teleprompter for a while and after months of being frustrated with trying to remember model numbers, item names and just having a flowing dialogue, it went for it and I'm glad I did! Once I downloaded my app of choice after the easy setup of the unit, it was just a matter of time before I would realize how much fun it was to talk in front of the camera with so many flubs! I like the construction and materials used for this teleprompter. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. I also like the additional screw holes for an external microphone or video light as well. I really don't have a dislike as of yet but my plan is to put a small Velcro strip atop the canvas to accommodate my Rode Wireless Go so that nothing is blocking its reception. For the price I'd recommend this to pretty much anyone who's looking for a teleprompter for their studio or space. 5 |

The big problem with replacement batteries is the bewildering array of model numbers for both the UPSs and the batteries. B&H provided clear and correct descriptions of which replacement battery works with which model numbers - something the manufacturer themselves makes completely confusing on their own site. So kudos to B&H for providing correct info and pictures. (I had used the pictures to confirm the battery choice - it appears that #123 and #124 work in 1 model.) As to the product itself, the 1500W is a good fit, for me and perhaps for many. It will power a modem, router, computer, and 3 monitors for 30 minutes - which carries you through perhaps 95% of power failures. Curiously, when I put my printers on backup too, the UPS beeps when the printer kicks on - presumably it's exceeding the UPS's capacity for that second - by the time I can read the display, it's within normal. Still, my HP printers seem to draw 400 watts while printing, whereas the 3 monitors, CPU, modem/router, and accessories only draw 200W more or less. Another reason printing is expensive.... 5 |

I had a 1/2 TB second drive and filled it up so I decided to replace it with a 2TB drive. I've used Western Digital drives for years, mostly the Black series, and have been very pleased with them. I thought about getting a 3TB drive but there seem to be a lot of reviews that say they are noisy so I decided to just go with a 2TB drive. I found that prices of the 2TB Caviar Black varied and there are different model numbers as well. I went to the Western Digital site and looked at their model numbers to make sure what I was buying was on their list. They all seem to have the same specifications so I'm not sure why all the different model numbers. I found a retail packaged drive at B&H that was competitively priced in comparison to OEM drives elsewhere so I went ahead and ordered it. With a retail package you normally get at least a sealed box, whereas OEM drives sometimes arrive in just a plain box, wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a unsealed anti-static envelope. I've ordered drives from various other online suppliers and now B&H. So far I'm very pleased with B&H. Shipping was very fast. The drive installed just fine and is no noisier than my primary drive which is a WD Caviar Black 1TB. I've used other drive manufacturers in the past, but I seem to have better luck with WD drives. I'm more into reliability than speed. 5 |

This unit lets you add another dice drives to your Synology unit (check model numbers first). Slip a drive in, connect to main unit with a cable, and provide power. Instantly shows up in the console. In short, everything was seamless- no drama. 5 |

Bought it, punched in the numbers when it arrived, no issues at all. A flawless customer service experience with Apple and B&H as always:) Great discount on B&Hs part too! 5 |

This is the Best Apple Keyboard. Yes, you have to charge it once in a while because it's wireless. But if you do ANY typing of numbers, you'll want this keyboard. But it now. 5 |

The Satechi Slim X2 keyboard has many pluses and few drawbacks. I got the Satechi keyboard to compare with my old Apple keyboard and I won't go back. This keyboard has a numeric keypad but has less of a footprint. Reaching for the numbers is more efficient. I had to reach for the numbers on the Apple keyboard. The backlit feature is convenient but why didn't Apple make it for standalone keyboards? Others seemed concerned about the battery drain using backlighting, but I haven't had it long enough to notice a difference. The feature I like best is pairing four external bluetooth devices. I can switch from writing Word documents on the MBP to texting on my iPhone . No lagging. Some others complain about the tactile squishing of the keyboard. I like the feel and sound. Despite the wedge shape of the keyboard, lifting it is like moving a frying pan--you need to find a place to grip. But that also is testament to the solid build. Use the 3M rubber feet that come in the box. It raises the back of the keyboard to a comfortable height. And it's easier to lift it off the desk. The $79.99 price makes it a bargain. The Apple Keyboard is going on the shelf with my old MBP. 5 |
