Originally needed quick access to cf express type b reader for my R5...where I live they only had Sandisk type b card reader ...I purchased it but it’s not nearly as good as this Prograde type reader ...the Prograde has two card slots Cf type b and sdxc plus the Prograde (the Sandisk doesn’t) plus it came with two connecting cords type c to type C and type C to type A...so great for plugging into my old Apple 13in Air..plus the big difference to the Sandisk reader...the Sandisk’s only connection type C to type C is very difficult to plug in and requires a very firm push to the point I thought I could damage the C port on my Apple 16in ...so far I have found this card reader excellent in manufacture nice and solid. Recommended. 5 |

This card reader is as elegantly designed as any apple product and it's fast, as fast as anything you can connect it to. I don't usually write about card readers, but this one is sweet! 5 |

With Apple releasing its new iMac desktop they decided on NO card reader for us photographers as in previous models. With new thunderbolt connections vs. USB I needed a hub for my external drives as well. One chat with B&H they turned me on to this guy. Works seamlessly. 5 |

The USB are fast, the HDMI works great and having a SCXC card reader is a must. I know Apple saved money by only putting 2 USB-C Thunderbolt ports on the new 2018 MacBook Air and this solves the issue of missing ports at a reasonable price. 5 |

So, after switching out everything from Win10 to my MacBook Pro, I'm heading out to the field and need a way to get my SD card images into my MBP. Since the MBP does not have an SD card reader, I just knew Apple would have a dongle for this, I mean really (!?). And so they do. No problems with it to date which I expect with Apple products. Just wish they'd have included an SD card reader slot into the machine. 5 |
