Apple Tablet Computer Target

I love Apple...everything is so easy when setting up the tablet. I have an iMac desktop computer but rarely need to use it because my tablet does just about everything I need to do on line. I love B&H....they process orders quickly and do not charge for shipping. I have nothing but good things to say about B&H. Thank you B&H for being a superior company.

One of those things you need to have, but wish Apple would include with your computer. Works great.

Way better than a tablet, you have all the power of a computer in the size and weight of a tablet

This computer is definitely for work. Its target is graphic designers, video editors, sound technicians, 3D editors and photographers with great work flow. I honestly thought it would not surprise me, but I'm definitely surprised. I bought more memory for a total of 20gb. and... well, working with this computer is a breeze. Speed, security, multitasking, upgrade capability are its principal virtues. The machine is loud, over 24 lbs. but it's a desktop computer.

Despite doing everything right in the field, I wasnt getting the sharpest images.  I wanted to start calibrating my lenses to ensure the sharpest photos possible.  Being a bit fearful of doing it myself, I checked around to find a camera shop who could do this for me.  Despite living near 2 large cities, I was surprised to find it is almost impossible to get this done locally and I did not want to ship my camera and lenses out.  The first thing I tried was to print out a good target from the internet and do it manually.  Though I am fairly technology saavy, this proved to be a wasted afternoon.  I then tried the Spyder Lenscal which provided a much better quality target, but despite doing everything correctly, I found it very difficult to discern the focus difference from one image to another.  In the advertisements, it makes the line in focus look super sharp and everything else obviously out of focus so you could easily tell if the lens was front or back focusing, but I did not find it to be that obvious and I was reluctant to change the settings without being sure.  $64 is a lot of money for that system.  I finally invested in the Reikan Focal 2.0 Pro Lens Calibration Software.  It worked easily and takes all the guesswork out.  You can save the reports for each calibration and they give very detailed information.  I would recommend having a laptop or lightweight easy to carry computer with a long cable that connects the camera to the computer at the site you are working.  With zoom lenses up to 400mm, your target needs to be around 30 feet from the camera.  The key to success is to set up your target in a well lit area.  I did not have a well lit area with that much floor space in my home so I did mine outside on a cloudless, sunny day which provided plenty of even light.

After my 2'nd Samsung Tablet (in 5 years) broke, I decided to give Apple a try. This is my first apple product. I've always been a windows (pc) and Android ( tablet/phone) user, so when I needed a new tablet, I figured I'd give apple a try. $329.00 is cheap to try the apple eco system.... IOS seems a bit more restrictive than Android (maybe that's a learning curve ?)... but, so far, I am very impressed. From a user interface/usability standpoint, it is much more enjoyable to use than my Samsung (Android) tablet, albeit the Samsung was 3 years old. Very seemless integration with my Microsoft One Drive Cloud storage/MS office products. Got the apple pencil as well.... Why not ! I'll probably always stay with Windows OS for a pc, but may take a bite of the apple when I get a new pbone...
