The Magic Trackpad is exactly what you'd expect from Apple. It paired easily with my Macbook Pro and functions exactly like the built-in trackpad, but is slightly larger. I paired it with a silicon protective case and wrist rest I found at Amazon, and I believe this is going to help with pain issues I was starting to see from using a mouse. Highly recommend. 5 |

I have gotten used to a trackpad on MacBook Pro laptops so it is nice to have a trackpad for an Apple desktop. Pairs easily to computer by plugging in with included Lightning charge cable (another Lightning connector device - wish they would standardize to USB-C/Thunderbolt on all their devices and save different cables to have piled up on desk or in a drawer). 5 |

I have an iMac from late 2009 and by bluetooth was not totally compatible with the Magic Track Pad 2. Before ordering the trackpad I researched on the internet, spoke to people at Apple and B&H. What I got was varying opinions. What I concluded was that I should spend the extra money. When they arrived I paired by trackpad to my iMac without the adapter. It worked initially. But when the iMac went to sleep, the pairing was lost. I hooked up the adapter and since then the trackpad and iMac are happily paired. One last comment. Since I bought from B&H and live out of New York State, there was no sales tax. That combined with the lower price for the trackpad at B&H, I saved money versus driving to the closet Apple Store. The first MacBook I received had an issue with the trackpad. I was considering taking it to Apple, but since I was within the return period, B&H shipped me a replacement with no problem. The laptop has been great ever since and running smooth. These M2 chips are fast! 5 |
