Apple Trackpad Magic Mouse 2 2009 Mac Mini

I have an iMac from late 2009 and by bluetooth was not totally compatible with the Magic Track Pad 2. Before ordering the trackpad I researched on the internet, spoke to people at Apple and B&H. What I got was varying opinions. What I concluded was that I should spend the extra money. When they arrived I paired by trackpad to my iMac without the adapter. It worked initially. But when the iMac went to sleep, the pairing was lost. I hooked up the adapter and since then the trackpad and iMac are happily paired. One last comment. Since I bought from B&H and live out of New York State, there was no sales tax. That combined with the lower price for the trackpad at B&H, I saved money versus driving to the closet Apple Store. Thank you B&H! 5 |

Made the transition from PC to Mac and found the Apple Magic Mouse easy to use even without the tracking ball that I'm used to using. Holds a charge for a long time. Easy to set up for functions such as right click. Smooth when moving across the mouse pad. 5 |

In spite of its shortcomings, the Magic Mouse is still the best Bluetooth mouse for the Mac. 5 |

At first, I did not think I was going to keep it. Especially for video editing. However, after 3 days I went back to a mouse and immediately went back to the magic trackpad. HIGHLY recommend using this for daily use 5 |

The Magic Trackpad 2 is, by far, one of the best input devices I've used in my 40 years of being a Mac user. Over the years, I've gotten really hokked on it, and when my spouse and I had to replace ours, we didn't hesitate to get them again. I can work all day without hand fatigue, and while there are options that have more bells and whistles, I prefer something that just works and blends into my day. 5 |

I have a 2009 iMac with the old batteries keyboard and replaced with this Magic one, which you can charge directly from you Mac from your Mac, a really nice upgrade, of course shipped by B&H immediately, I am in DC area and I got it in 2 or 3 days after purchase :) Love it! 5 |

The Magic Trackpad is exactly what you'd expect from Apple. It paired easily with my Macbook Pro and functions exactly like the built-in trackpad, but is slightly larger. I paired it with a silicon protective case and wrist rest I found at Amazon, and I believe this is going to help with pain issues I was starting to see from using a mouse. Highly recommend. 5 |

I have always used an Apple Magic Mouse. I also have used other mice at workstations from time to time. Never have I ever had a mouse fit so perfectly for my hand. Its just a natural feeling. Every other mouse now feels foreign and difficult after getting use to this mouse. I do miss some gestures from the Apple Magic mouse, but you can map the additional 3 buttons on the MX Vertical to do whatever you want. If your looking for a great mouse, you can stop your search here. :) 5 |

It may not be for everyone but it serves my purposes great. After using an Apple Magic Mouse for many years, not ergonomic by any means, it became all too clear I need something that was much easier on the hands and wrist. This certainly fits that bill. And having been spoiled by the functionality of the Magic Mouse I was looking for something that I could program. This meets that and more. The options are limitless. You just need to figure out what you do the most of and program those. In all I have 9 different functions programmed into the mouse. A great mouse if you are looking for ergonomics and functionality. 5 |

I first bought the Apple Magic Mouse. It was not at all what I expected. I'm sure it is a good mouse, but not worth nearly $75 dollars. Part of the magic is that it doesn't have a roller for scrolling... it uses your finger across the top of the mouse instead. I prefer the roller. I set the Apple Magic Mouse at the fastest speed, and it was still too slow. I had to move the mouse across the entire pad to get the curser to move a few inches. The MS Surface Mouse performs great, feels comfortable in the hand, and at a good speed. 5 |
