Apple Tv 2 Slow Streaming From Computer

We had such slow download speeds for watching streaming shows on ourApple TV it was ridiculous. Too far from the modem. Our new Netgear Mesh Extender now makes it practically instantaneous. What a great improvement for our evening viewing. Thanks, Netgear!

Fit perfect in cabin living room. Tuning went perfectly, Alexa integration was a breeze, streaming from iTunes Airplay2 was great and bonus was wireless integration with Apple TV for streaming both music and shows while watching the TV. Well built and no distortion at high volumes. Soundstage was perfect and the bass was very clean and not overpowering. I'll go out on a limb here... and say that the hardware and software might have been what Apple would have created... if they cared to. I have had lots of Bose equipment over the years and both are great, but I'm going to put the Play5 as the more accurate speaker of the two. Well done!

Never use my Apple TV, I now only use my roku, remote is great, too much to watch....also am streaming live tv via Xfinity!

I brought a Apple TV 4K on Friday and replaced with the Roku 4K Streaming Stick and the features are not in even close.... The only thing the Apple TV has is a great remote

As someone who's not completely buying in the whole Apple ecosystem, I'm really happy with this little device. I used to watch all streaming apps from built-in Android system with my Sony TV. I found it very frustrating from time to time with the lagging and the difficulty of navigating around. Those issues are not with this Apple TV. It's so smooth and easy to use. I also love that Apple keep updating the firmware to make it better and better. Thinking to get some more and replace all Amazon firesticks, Roku, etc.. around the house.

Great upgrade to a great product. I renamed by old Apple TV and just use it as a music streaming device from my Music library. Only problem with the new unit is it's hdmi only output which doe not go to Zone 2 on my audio receiver. that's why I'm using the old one's optical output.

Whereas there are more and cheaper options than the apple tv out there, there is more to see inside this thing than simple streaming, this is one of the best home automation hubs in the market, of course you need to have more apple products to make the most of out this.

i use it to hardwire my Apple TV to my modem/router for streaming video w/o interruptions experienced with wifi. It works well and is very good quality.

I have many streaming devices and my favorite by far is this Apple TV 4K box, it’s super fast has a nice UI amazing picture quality and I’m also tied into the Apple ecosystem so this thing is a no brainer. Very pleased. B&H shipped fast too.

This is my second Apple TV. I would have not have purchased the first except a relative of mine gave me it for Christmas a few years ago. I am not a huge fan of streaming television, but I have cut the cable and this device is far superior to, and less irritating than the Google TV that came with my Sony TV. My original unit will go in the bedroom and this one with my new TV.
