Apple Tv 3Rd Generation Micro Usb Cable

I have owned every generation of iPad and have become a big fan of the Minis - great for travel, great for reading at night, and large enough screens to view photos, movies, etc. However, they never had the processing power and graphics capability of the larger models - until now. The new Mini Gen 6 has it all - great screen (now with very small bezel for greater viewing area) and now real horsepower. The first indication of that was doing updates to apps. Normally, the last Mini would take quite some time to process updates once downloaded. This new Mini blazes through updates much faster. Finally a Mini that sacrifices very little in comparison to the larger iPads. The swipe-only operation takes a little getting used to, but poses no disadvantages I can see so far. Just bear in mind this iPad (and all the other newer ones) requires a USB C charging cable (included). If you, like me, have tons of the old Lightning cables, they won't work. Additionally, many non-Apple USB C cables will not support charging, so be aware. Play it safe and use an Apple cable (comes with the cable and charger of course). As a side note, I have the new Apple folio case for this generation and it's pretty darn cool too. Great product, great B&H service!

This adapter transforms micro your micro USB cable into a much sturdier than Apple's original Lightning cable. It snaps on tightly, charges and transfers data well, works for both iPhone and iPad.

I'm using this for a set of items that I travel with: - USB A - Apple lightning cable - USB A - USB C cable - USB A - micro USB cable - USB A - Zune cable - spare ear bugs - USB charging adapter (for US type A outlets) - spare AAA batteries This case is a perfect size for this.

Needed this for charging from a micro-USB cable. Works great for that.

I bought this primarily because our previous generation Apple TV HD did not support the new Enhanced Dialog feature, that arrived with OS 7.1. This model brings that feature to the HomePod mini. Thought we would give it a try before popping for a pair of full size HomePods. Verdict - it works pretty well. Is it perfect ? No. But, dialog is much more understandable most of the time compared to our previous 5.1 set-up with a conventional center channel. Overall, response of this generation Apple TV is noticeably faster. The remote is an improvement over the previous one, but again not perfect. But, at least I no longer pick it up from the wrong end. Have the ARC HDMI cable from the TV plugged directly into the Apple TV. That allows TV audio from both the HomePod and our home theater speakers simultaneously. A meaningful upgrade if you have an older Apple TV.

I went from a 2nd generation Apple TV to a 4th generation and we lost the optical out. This solved that problem for us with ease.

I have another review that I wrote about this mic, but B&H's website doesn't appear to let me update that review. I've now been using this mic almost daily for over a year. The audio is crisp and clear, background noise is kept to a minimum, and people on the other end of the meeting/phone call give compliments on the detail that this mic captures. I used to use a condenser mic, but that also had the annoying feature of picking up a lot of 60Hz hum. This mic doesn't do that and I didn't have to make any adjustments to the room either. For the person who mentioned they couldn't fit it in a shockmount, it has one internally. That is why the mic is the size that it is. For those complaining about the USB port, mine hasn't had any issues. I accidentally bent the micro usb connector on the cheap cable they shipped with it and the mic survived just fine. The cable, on the other hand, was useless after that. I solved this problem by finding a 90 degree USB adapter so that the connector isn't pointing straight out the back of the mic. It now sits mostly flush and swiveling the mic is more likely to cause the adapter to disconnect at the other end. If your laptop, like mine, is usb-c only, don't try to buy long usb-c to usb-c cables. They are crazy expensive. Instead, try to buy a usb-c to mini or micro usb-b cable. They are much cheaper. My setup is usb-c to micro usb (10 feet), then an adapter from micro-usb to usb-c (1 inch), and then finally a short usb-c to 90 degree micro-usb adapter (6 inches).
