We are big Plex fans and have a Mac mini that we use as a server. Our client WAS the LG app that works on the LGwebOS platform. Unfortunately the LG version was EXTREMELY slow and laggy to navigate. It played back fine but navigation was a nightmare. We fixed that by getting this Apple TV which we primarily use with Plex and YouTube. Navigation is lightning fast and responsive and using Plex is now a joy. The eArc pass thru from our Denon receiver to the LG TV works perfectly. Initial setup of the Apple TV could have been a little smoother but once it's up and running, no complaints. Also REALLY like the remote so much better than the LG remote with its cludgy layout. The Apple Remote is a game changer. 5 |

Bought this product and i couldn’t believe the optional things i can do with it. first it is a replacement for my apple tv and as such i expected no loss on quality of the picture - perfection !!! the AI upscale is doing miracles with sd content and u are absolutely think about HD. Games playing are running fast as this is the power of real nvidia gpu. even while i’m not an android fan - the UI is perfect and they keep updating it regularly. the remote is genius and i like the lights on it when u raise it up. i took out my xbox out as i plays with it’s remote connected to shield. 5 |
