The adapter keeps my computer charged and my connection completely sound while I'm hardwired. So far, I'm pleased that the adapter hasn't overheated and has stayed cool to touch. If you don't have a built-in Ethernet adapter, this gets the job done. Windows automatically identified and connected to the adapter. I was successfully on the Ethernet within a few seconds.

Works fine with Windows and Mac. This adapter can basically max out a gigabit Ethernet connection. I have it connected to a USB port on the back of my monitor so that a single cable gets me not only power and video, but also a better internet connection.

I replaced a previous VAVA adapter because it was dropping the ethernet connection. This one does not have that issue. It has one less USB connection, but that is not an issue for me.

My laptop doesn't have an ethernet port. This USB adapter is a great solution.

I was looking for USB to serial adapter which will work under the Windows 7 and this adapter does exactly that. Even better - Windows 7 already has built-in driver for this adapter!

This is essentially the same cable apple includes with an iPhone and iPad. If you're going to use it to charge and iPhone or iPad, make sure you have a USB adapter you can plug into an outlet. It's MFI certified which is certification for compatibility with Apple products. The cable is a little less flexible than Apple's cable. This might be due to a thicker and sturdier outer jacket which would make this cable a little more durable than the Apple cable.
