Apple Watch Series 7 Phone Calls

First off, this is a very expensive item that’s an accessory and debatable whether or not you need it for the small convenience it provides. With that being said, it’s a very well made product, works as you would expect from any Apple product. I’ve found it convenient to have messages and calls on my wrist without needing to take my phone out of my pocket. I also spend less time on my phone since it’s not in my hands. One feature I found helpful that I didn’t know the watch had is the ability to take a picture from your phone but clicking the button to take the picture from your watch. This seems like something I’ll end up using more than I would’ve imagined because now you can set your phone up and back up to take a picture rather than holding it as far from your face or body as possible. It’s also very convenient to reply to text messages by using the voice to text feature right on the watch and hitting send. Not having to take your phone out and hold it makes responding while driving or just keeping your hands free is nice. I also have an August home door lock which unlocks from my phone anywhere I have internet and there’s a watch app for this. It’s nice having this on my wrist as well. I’m still learning about it and there’s some great features and conveniences and a lot I’ll never use. If I didn’t like the message and calls and the ability to have LTE to it I’d say go with the WiFi only, but the cellular connection is where I find myself realizing the biggest benefits. I also went with the stainless steel over the aluminum because of the durability. If you have Apple care you can turn it in on a claim, but you only get 2 in 2 years so you have to keep that in mind. But to keep the price down I wouldn’t have too much of an issue getting the aluminum and just getting a case for it. I like that it can go in the water so if you’re swimming, in the ocean, or even in the shower you’ll always have access to your phone and messages.

I received my Apple Series 6 (40mm) with stainless steel case a few weeks ago and wanted to have some use logged before writing a review. I have not worn a watch in 12+ years. My purchase was initially due to the blood oxygen & sleep technology; however, I found that the Activity, Steps, Standing, and Heart rate info has been a real boon in getting a handle on my overall fitness. I have been slow to embrace new technology as I only got a smart phone (SE 2020) last year. The watch works with the phone to display all of the functions (health apps) that I have chosen from the Apple Health Suite. I am particularly impressed with the hand washing app that tracks duration of this important personal health activity in the Covid world. Although it has a fast charger that magnetically attaches to the back of the case, I wish it was faster, but not enough to detract from the 5 Star rating. Glad it is part of my personal attire. I switch between watch faces as the mood dictates, cool.

My wife has been wanting an Apple Watch got her the series 6 and she loves it.

This is my first Apple Watch, so I did my research. I decided on the Series 6 due to the heart monitoring features. I ordered it from B&H because their price was good (they also threw in a free watch guard) and they are a trusted company. I was afraid if I ordered through Amazon I might not get what I ordered. I have had the watch about 3 weeks now and am very pleased with my purchase.

I've owned an Apple Watch since their Series 1. I replaced that with a Series 2 and now that one with a Series 6. I have a number of pretty expensive traditional watches that I now never wear - I guess that in a nutshell, tells you how much I like my Apple Watch. If I were to be constructively critical, the upgrade to the cellular enabled model, came with a bit of a sticker shock after I found our that Verizon charges a one time fee and a monthly upgrade fee for that feature. Needless to say, it isn't worth it. My bad for not researching this fact ahead of buying the watch. B&H delivered the watch promptly, and they lived up to their reputation of being a great on-line store.

Super practical and fast! I use this to charge my Apple Watch and phone at the same time.

I'm the guy that waited out the 7 plus phone before trading my 3, and waited for the 6 series watch before trading in my trusty 1 series. This was worth the wait. I went from a 42 to a 44 and have been very happy with the size. The new functions of O2 saturation and HR, are spot on ( I'm a nurse and have checked using one of our machines during the watch checking ). The 'always on' function...although a little less bright, works like a charm and the new notices 'bings' and the 'clear water function', not to mention the 'washing hands' function are actually useful and non-obtrusive. I'm not a fan of the standard band, although comfortable...and prefer the Milanese magnet one, which I got a few days after getting this. ( I like the safety of IF it opens, it has a chance of hanging on before it fall off) Highly recommend this watch and as always, LOVE doing business with B and H. Always great pricing, prompt delivery and if you have to call, knowledgeable and so nice you almost call them twice. Happy Holidays.

Here are a few key points for those who are looking to purchase. Long lasting battery: Over the past week, listening to music and connecting to my computer for work meetings, I have yet to charge it. It automatically turns off when not in use and connects when needed. So this allows for a longer time of use. Comfort: It is very light, I could hardly tell it was on my head. For someone who is staring at 5 other over the ear headphones, this one is my go to now. Quick connection: If I am on my computer, once I turn it on, it connects automatically now. When I first got it, my tablet (apple), my phone(apple), and my computer (windows) all recognized it and connected without failure. Buttons: The buttons are displaced perfectly on this set. I didn't even have to look at the instructions, it just works! Sound: Crisp and clear for music. Not overly bass heavy, which is nice when comparing them to my Beats. Clear and no background noise for phone calls. I asked many people and made phone calls and everyone stated that they could hear me and I could hear them perfectly. Nice Job JBL!!

This is the second Apple Watch that I have purchased at B&H and I've gotten great deals on them both. I highly recommend the stainless steel version because of its added protection not only on the frame, but also with the crystallized glass. If you're worried about any mishaps while wearing a watch, this is the model to get. I just upgraded from a series 3 to this series 6 and noticed that the improvements in the health and physical workout sections are definitely worth it. The face stays lit constantly and is cleverly integrated with current notifications so you never miss any new info that may come in. All in all,well worth the price for a incredible timepiece/ health monitor/mini computer!
