Apple Watch Third Party Charger Not Working

Third party batteries are very convenient. But the original will always come in clutch

As an engineer I can tell you the USB standard is way too general. There are so many variables. When you connect any USB device to any other USB device a little dance is performed. The device which is plugged in will ask who are you?, Device says I am XYZ and used for XYZ purpose. My version is XYZ, and I am brand XYZ. The computer, or iPhone will decide if it wants to let the device continue to do its task (charge, bluetooth, video, etc) For charging, speed is always best. You might think you saved a lot of money Not buying Apple branded cables or power adapters. But think again. Third party tests are out there showing hard data for using third party chargers/cable combinations. Test results for.. Apple charger with Apple Cable Samsung charger with Apple Cable Apple charger with Samsung Cable Other charger with other cable etc. The studies always show Apple charger with Apple Cable is the only combination which works as fast as possible (i.e. Meets the claims Apple makes). Important: If you are going to buy a third party cable or power adapter, look for a label Made for iPhone, Made for iPad (MFi Certified). This way you know the metal leads, voltages, and that little dance all have been looked at by Apple.

We have the Apple Pencil, this stylus, in addition to another third party stylus. This one not only looks elegant, but has a great feel to it. It holds more like a nice, fine pen or pencil in the hand, and it is my favorite. Everyone always asks me if it is a specialty product as they’ve never seen one that looked this nice in black. It isn’t finicky with the type of charger used, so I just plug it up to my iPad & computer charger, so one cord for all my things is needed. It would be absolutely amazing if they could manage a way to create the magnetic charge like the other product, but… I am more than pleased.

This is my third watch, more and more Apple is surpassing itself.

Perfect replacement for the lenscap that I lost. Third party lens caps never seem to fit quite right and often fall off. Since it is so cheap I will never consider purchasing a third party lens cap ever again.

Always always always buy OEM Battery Grips. I know (3) separate people that bought Third Party battery Grips - Canon, Nikon & Sony. Didn't work, returned it and bought OEM! Please don't go cheap on batteries or grip on your $3,000 camera!

The Panasonic battery is the only one I use in my Lumix GH3 and 4 because it has a chip to tell you the battery life in the view finder. Third party manufacturers do not necessarily have that chip and therefore will not tell you when the battery is about to give out.

If you need a fast charge, this isn’t the product for you, as it takes a while to charge. The only thing I would change is adding a spot for my Apple Watch, or being able to use one of the spots for a watch because I use it more often than my AirPods. But unfortunately, it’s not compatible with the Apple Watch.
