All are enclosing 2TB SSDs and are utili m This Sabrent enclosure for the M.2 SSDs is the sixth one I've purchased of this Sabrent model. All SSDs are 2TB, five are Crucial brand, one is WD. They are being used as external drives for three Mac desktop systems; one each of Intel i5, Apple M1 and Apple M2. All are working great. Speeds are limited only by the USB bus speeds of each computer. I appreciate that the Sabrents come with the necessary cables.

I have only had the case for a week maybe now, so who knows if this will change, but it has given me 0 issues so far. installing everything inside was rather easy, and theres plenty of room for it. however I am only using m.2 drives on my motherboard, and did not need to install any SSDs or HDDs on the sides so I am not aware of if that would be a struggle to do.

Very happy with this SSD so far! I'm using it in a Raspberry Pi 5 with M.2 HAT and I haven't had any issues so far. (Yes, using this particular SSD is probably overkill!)

2 mac mini's fit in the enclosure. They run 24x7 and so far no issues with overheating etc.

Have replaced 2 Seagate Constellation ES.2 in my Synology server with these drives, could not be happier. No issues whatsoever, both run cooler than the Seagate drives, 2MIL MTBF rating. 5 year warranty. Highly recommended!

I can personally attest this works perfectly in both 2015 MacBook Pros (Retina models), also in a 2013 MacBook Air (13”). Amazingly fast, and no heat or power issues at all. (I bought mine on Amazon, back in Jan of 2022.) Prices have dropped dramatically since then, so I’m planning to upgrade soon. This time from B&H. There have been many issues reported with other SSDs in MacBooks, so I did a lot of research. This one uses the least power, so it’s also the coolest running. For all Mac users, I highly recommend getting DriveDx. Hopefully, I’ll get warned this time before my SSD dies. I didn’t realize it then, but everyone should buy double the total amount of SSD they plan to use regularly. Otherwise, there isn’t enough workspace, and constant writing to the same limited area wears it out. An adapter is required for these M.2 SSDs. I recommend the “Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card”. Make sure you get the one for your specific model.

2.5-hour battery for location work. Heavy but worth the trade-off.
