This is the Best Apple Keyboard. Yes, you have to charge it once in a while because it's wireless. But if you do ANY typing of numbers, you'll want this keyboard. But it now.

The Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is a game-changer. As someone who spends a lot of time typing, I can't describe the relief I felt when I got rid of my clunky old keyboard and switched to this sleek and elegant device. The most significant feature of this keyboard is undoubtedly the Touch ID. Having the ability to log in to my computer and authorize payments with just the touch of my finger is incredibly convenient, especially when I'm in a rush. The keyboard itself is Bluetooth-enabled, so it's easy to connect to my MacBook, iPad, or other Apple devices without any cables getting in the way. The keys are low profile and responsive, providing a satisfying typing experience that's both fast and accurate. One minor downside is that the keyboard doesn't have a backlight, which can make typing in low light a bit tricky. However, the build quality more than makes up for this small limitation. Overall, I've been extremely satisfied with the Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID. It has taken my typing experience to a whole new level, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a premium keyboard.

I have both the Apple Megic Keyboard and this keyboard. I like this better. The typing experience is just as good - plus, it offers protection the the ipad. Choose this is you don't know whiuch one to get. Also, it's significantly cheaper.

The Satechi Slim X2 keyboard has many pluses and few drawbacks. I got the Satechi keyboard to compare with my old Apple keyboard and I won't go back. This keyboard has a numeric keypad but has less of a footprint. Reaching for the numbers is more efficient. I had to reach for the numbers on the Apple keyboard. The backlit feature is convenient but why didn't Apple make it for standalone keyboards? Others seemed concerned about the battery drain using backlighting, but I haven't had it long enough to notice a difference. The feature I like best is pairing four external bluetooth devices. I can switch from writing Word documents on the MBP to texting on my iPhone . No lagging. Some others complain about the tactile squishing of the keyboard. I like the feel and sound. Despite the wedge shape of the keyboard, lifting it is like moving a frying pan--you need to find a place to grip. But that also is testament to the solid build. Use the 3M rubber feet that come in the box. It raises the back of the keyboard to a comfortable height. And it's easier to lift it off the desk. The $79.99 price makes it a bargain. The Apple Keyboard is going on the shelf with my old MBP.

This is my first wireless keyboard with a numeric extension. It is perfect when entering many numbers into documents and spreadsheets. I do not know how I have gotten by with just a keyboard. This is worth your consideration when in the market for a new or replacement keyboard for your Mac.

This is my second wireless expanded keyboard and it works great. If you work with numbers, it is far easier than the standard keyboard that comes with my new iMac. However I do miss the touch button.

Best keyboard by far, blows Apple’s pathetic excuse for a keyboard out of the water. This case protects and is extremely functional. Apple will truly sacrifice everything a keyboard case is supposed to be (a decent keyboard, a decent case) at the expense of design. Things this keyboard has that Apple decided to let you figure out for yourself: - Adjustable back-lit keys - Proper key travel for an enjoyable typing experience even for prolonged periods (this review being typed on the case) - A pen carrying solution - A flap to keep the case closed and your iPad safe - Function keys - Actual iPad corner protection for drops Just to name some off the top of my head  Because of the keyboard, I use my MBP 13” 1/4 of the time now, its brilliant. I will hand write my notes and study but for the times I want a good typing experience I just flip this case over. Truly unlocks potential in the 3rd gen iPad Pro, I take this thing places I otherwise wouldn’t have because of the case. 5/5 I think Apple’s business model is smart - the more pathetic the case, the more likely they’ll be back to buy another one because their’s got dropped once and is gone for good.

replaced apple keyboard. reduced typing errors. sculpted keys are a plus as are option based symbols. good tactile feedback. audible feed back helpful, but requires getting used to. extra usb port is useful.

If you enjoy typing (or have learned to enjoy typing) on an Apple Keyboard this is a great upgrade from the white version. I appreciate the ascetics of the space grey. The practical benefit is that it shows less grime over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comparable to Apple keyboard it works very well for typing. The keyboard is detachable so it makes it super easy to use for school. I have a MacBook but this keyboard makes me want to use my iPad so much more
