Apple Wireless Magic Keyboard Ipad Pro

The Magic Keyboard is a serious improvement over the original keyboard I purchased for my 2017 iPad Pro, and that was pretty good. But there's really no fair comparison, since the new model is backlit, can charge the Apple Pencil, and appears to be more durable. I like the typing action. Typically, for Apple products, it's pricey, but I feel strongly that I got my money's worth.

I ordered an iPad pro with the Apple Magic Keyboard and Pen as suggested by the app. I'm so glad I did because my iPad Pro is complete from day one!

I have found that the apple magic keyboard for the IPAD PRO is an excellent choice for use with the IPAD PRO. It provides the service I need to use my IPAD PRO in an efficient and productive manner.

I am Loving my new iPad Pro so far. Of course it’s light years ahead of the 2004 Apple iBook G4 that it is replacing (I know, I know...). Obviously there is somewhat of a learning curve with the differences but in a house with two teenagers to help, that’s been O.K. So far. I also got the “Magic Keyboard” with this iPad which of course also acts as a case. I don’t know if I’m more taken with the iPad, the Magic Keyboard or how they function together? - It is a joy to see perfectly functioning engineering like this! - I was concerned that I might not like the keyboard or that it would be too far off from the one I was used to, but I needn’t have been and actually like this keyboard better than my old one! Key function and sensitivity and keyboard size are great! - The iPad magnetically connects effortlessly with the Magic Keyboard and can charge from there too and when you want it disconnected for other uses, you just grab it and pull it off the keyboard component! - Once I’d set them both up my two aforementioned teenagers were even visibly impressed and I wondered if I sensed a little envy in their look even though they’ve had much further advanced electronic devices than their Dad for a long time up until this point. - It is fantastic and really does make it seem like a “real” laptop computer - or even better! Compared to the Apple Magic Keyboard they both charge via the iPad port, but the keyboard on the Magic Keyboard is not removable which can lead to problems at times. Offers great protection and the keyboard functions just as an Apple branded product. Easy to link with your iPad and works right out of the box. Durable and more lightweight than a Magic Keyboard. Magnet strength is great hold the iPad tightly in place. At half the price if the Apple Magic Keyboard is a better investment. Great value and product!

I purchased my iPad Air with the Apple Magic Keyboard. That keyboard is great for stationary use of the iPad (for sheer typing, it is better than the ZAGG and comes with a trackpad. However, I did not feel at all comfortable placing the iPad in a backpack with the Magic Keyboard; it did not protect the sides and the Apple Pencil was only secured by the charging magnet (it always came off during transport). With the ZAGG, the iPad is much more protected, and it secures the pencil to the case while also charging. The iPad can remain in the case, while either removed from the keyboard or reversed for use as a tablet. The Keyboard has a USB-C charging port, so an additional cord is not necessary (if only Apple would upgrade the iPhone to an USB-C…). It also holds a very long charge. If you travel a lot or frequently move your iPad, I highly recommend this keyboard.

The Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard with Numeric Keypad has improved my productivity considerably. The keyboard is comfortable to type on and having the benefit of a numeric keyboard attached is great.

The Apple Magic Wireless Keyboard w/ Numeric Keypad is one of the best keyboards I have owned. It is very slim and feels reminiscent of the MacBook Pro I used to own. I love having the numeric keypad off to the side, as I use it a lot. Battery life is amazing. When I first got this one, I had forgotten to turn it off at the end of the day and left it on for a few days straight.....only to find that it still has battery life left. It charges quickly, with the included cable, and syncs automatically without requiring you to go through the normal steps like you would bluetooth ear buds or something. The only thing I wish the keyboard had - that it doesn't have - is backlit keys. I'm sure there is an aftermarket option somewhere that would offer the backlit keys, but this one fit my budget and is a very solid keyboard.
