I got this hard drive for a system backup. I am checking to see how it works with Apple's Time Machine. So far it is working very well. I will then get another one just like it to rotate Off-site to protect my data. This is in addition to a cloud storage. 5 |

The USB-C adapter works great with the Apple CD drive. A USB-C CD drive was hard to find & expensive. This works great. 5 |

The Apple hard drive stopped working on the 24 iMac. A it has a connector for the temperture sensor, looked to fin the substantial equivalent and B&H has exactly what was needed. Opned the unit up, put in the new drive and thinhs are working great. 5 |

The necessary thing to replace the hard drive on your Mac 2011. You are unlikely to buy a brand Apple disk with a built-in thermal sensor, and this kit will allow you to connect any other hard drive. Good luck! 5 |

I think I found a hard Drive that works with my apple computer without buying extra cables. I’ll go and take some pictures and see if I can export and import than edit without it degrading the photo. So far it looks great. 5 |

I ordered an external hard drive for my new Apple MacBook Pro to store my photos on when traveling. This HD has rugged in it's name and certainly stands up to the name. I have only set it up and not used it yet, but if it performs as well as my other four LaCie external hard drives, it will be an investment well worth the money I paid for it. 5 |
