If you’re lucky enough to have a 5-20R receptacle (which indicates it is a 20 Amp circuit, not the more common 15 Amp circuit) nearby, this thing ROCKS! When lightly loaded (100watts) it offers a runtime of 3 hours and 32 minutes. A fine unit. Note that this unit uses an L5-30P plug. (The P in the name means plug. R would mean receptacle.) My application uses a NEMA 5-20R. So I had to find a NEMA 5-20P to NEMA L5-30R adapter. They can be found via a search engine. Building supply store websites too. You can skip the plug hassle by buying a 2200 instead of a 3000. Same batteries, slightly lower power capability. 5 |
