Use it to control in ceiling speakers in several rooms. Setup was very easy. The first time I plugged in the speaker wires it all worked well. Only surprise was I had to factory reset if I add more than one device at a time, and they aren't all turned on when adding devices, because the older one is unable to connect again. They also run very hot when idle.

Use this to convert the thunderbolt output of an I-MAC, 27 (latest generation, late 2014 manufacture) to HD-SDI for input into a Panasonic AG-HMX100 HD Video Mixer. You are unable to use the Thunderbolt to DVI adaptor directly because this switcher does not support HDCP and Apple has HDCP riding down their thunderbolt signal. By using the DVI adaptor plugged in to the Blackmagic DVI / HD SDI extender plugged into the switch HDCP is by-passed and the set up works perfectly.

These plugs are easy to setup to control various inside lights and appliances.
