I got this more as an emergency backup battery than as a UPS for my computer. I have some critical appliances that require a short by heavy load and can't really have them down for one or two days if the power goes out. I'm reasonably sure this UPS will keep them running on minimal usage during a short power outage. Either that or I can run my internet gateway for several hours.
