This DI is great for our application of connecting a projector or PC to a Mixer. We use this in our House of Worship for watching videos played on a PC with HDMI to a projector. To provide a clean audio signal we use the Kopul DI and connect the projector or PC 3.5mm out to the 1/4 input on the DI. We connect the XLR to our stage jack which takes the signal to the Mixer XLR input. Without the DI there is a loud 60Hz hum. By pressing in the ground lift button it effectively removes the hum and we have a clean audio signal from our projector or PC to the mixer. Note we use the 0db attenuator switch. The device is well constructed and works great for our application. 5 |
