Approved Eclipse Glass Brands

The eclipse glasses arrived on time made by one of the manufacturers approved by NASA for manufacture of glasses for eclipse viewing.

B&H was the only way left to get eclipse glasses in time. I got them early enough to distribute to family members. The glasses were NASA approved and worked fine.

There were many eclipse glasses on line, but I was concerned whether they really were approved. After some research, I found B&H which was recommended in several articles. The glasses arrived before the expected date and were well packaged. We're ready for the eclipse!

I ordered these because they are on the NASA approved list. Much better price than some other brands. Also, could order just a couple.

I tested 4 brands and the B&H Eclipse Glasses gave the best view of the sun and felt the most protective! The VisiSolar Smartphone Filters produced a natural white light in photos... but any position I held them on my smartphone, the sun images came out as an oval shape sun with a lot of glare. So I cut a big piece of cardboard cereal box to make a wide phone shield, cut out a rectangle where my smartphone lens is located, and taped a single cardboard-framed eyepiece of eclipse glasses over this lens hole to make a much better cell phone camera filter.

Lectrosonics claims that their products are made by fanatics and I believe them. Outstanding performance and range that eclipse the bargain brands. Wide range of frequencies available and very easy to scan locally for clear freqencies. lectrosonics service (for a fee) can also re-block your frequency group unlike other brands.
