Apps For Tablets To Kid Safe The Internet

The internet is working better, but the apps on the TV though Cox is not any faster. Internet is great. Apps on the main TV not so good.

What a difference this new gigabit router made in my house. I'm now getting internet speeds that I thought was only possible at my kid's house. I was previously having issues, so I started to go through the elimination process. I then boiled it down to my previous router. So I bought this new Gigabit cable modem, and within minutes I was up and flying with amazing internet speeds. Thanks Netgear. Well worth the money.

Very easy set up and outstanding apps for management and Children's internet usage.

With the new ORBI unit I have had flawless high speed internet once I got all my Apps linked back up. Some of them operate on 2.4 and others on 5G. You have to configure the ORBI to connect with both. But they all work perfectly.

Bought this unit initially to see if my internet speed (~90 Mbps) could support streaming TV. Streams just fine without any issues or buffering. Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of channels available with the Roku live TV, as well as with other apps. Keeps me logged in to my Pluto app, which is nice. Can easily add other apps allowing for an even greater variety of programs available. I must say the Roku microphone search function works very well, also it is nice to be able to log into your YouTube account and view your YouTube playlists easily on your television.

Wonderful RAID 0/1 enclosure for two HDDs. Works reliably and quietly. Very nice feature is that the HDDs are "hot" swappable. CRU no longer makes this machine so I bought a remaining new one as a backup to the original one I have just in case it were to fail some day. New models today offer internet interfaces which enhance mobility but I don't need mobility and I like simple local control where I can swap out a HDD on a regular basis to keep a backup copy in a home safe and another in a safe deposit box. This way I have total local control with NO reliance of the internet, connectivity or the cloud.

The security allowed me to move freely through the internet with confidence my data and computer would be safe. Excellent product
