In the past i used after market inks but when i went through a printer head in less than a year, they cost about $630, i decided to stick to the real canon ink and haven’t had any issues! 5 |

I ditched the included software and just started using it as an external drive. It connected perfectly, no hitches. And I loaded up a 630 Gbyte ZIP file backup onto it. It was relatively speedy, though it took about 6-7 hours to load that 630 Gbyte ZIP file from another external drive to it. Nonetheless, I'm very pleased with it so far. 5 |

I love the Slik ECH-630 compact star tracker because you can take it anywhere and it fits in my camera bags perfectly and does not take up a lot of space like my other larger trackers. The quality of the product is excellent and is solidly built. I have used this for multiple time-lapse and milky way shots even during the last solar eclipse. one of the best features is being able to connect an external USB battery pack and it gives you days instead of just 20 hours. The only issue I have with this star tracker is the alignment using just the 2 visual ports on the device but I have a solution for that and purchased a green bore laser and can now polar align perfectly. I highly recommend this and also the SLIK SMH-250. 5 |
