Arcade Machine Button Shop

The well-made and sturdy, almost arcade game style push button knobs are a perfect companion to Adobe Lightroom. One of the most useful gadgets I have purchased. I use them in conjunction with all the other Palette products but they are maybe the most useful. I have set them up to 'Edit in Photoshop', 'Increase Rating', 'Crop Tool', 'Before/After' and 'Undo'. Once you get used to the new way of controlling your workflow, they rock!

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer.

I have a 4th Gen i5 unit that's a kind of a, "Shop," computer, used to look up machine shop specs & plans, order parts & tooling, keep track of customer data, job status, etc. It's nice to have the machine in the shop, rather than have to run into the office every time; I waste a lot of time if I have to run back & forth. The SSD has made the, "Shop," computer quite a lot faster.

This has been great for printing decals for our arcade machines.

I use this to supply power to my Sony HDR-CX675 Handycam in my wood shop studio. With this adapter, I no longer need to worry about the charge level on my camera batteries. I leave it plugged in and the camera is ready to go a the push of a button (i.e. the button on my Revo VRS-MULTI-W Wireless Remote). Pros - works as expected; length of both sides of the cabling is generous. Cons - none. I would recommend this. -Mike

A year ago, with the help of a machine shop, I modified the mounting platform of an ACRATECH 1161. This head would then accept a dovetail clamp of MY choosing. The Kessler-Crane lever clamp worked well. But I needed that lever clamp back on a Gitzo g1570. The Kirk round screw clamp, intended for mounting directly to a tripod's mounting platform, was required on a second tripod. ( Have two of those clamps. ) Finally I mounted this beautifully made clamp to the ACRATECH 1161. I am very pleased! Wimberly....please continue the manufacturing of this big honkin' clamp. I have not had a lot of time to use this, but my initial impressions are not likely to change. I own a precision machine shop and I appreciate well-made things. As soon as I took this out of the box, I was impressed with the quality of manufacturing evident in it. The fit and finish are excellent. The adjustments are smooth and positive. The ball locks easily and solidly. The lever operated receiver for the camera is the same operating in three positions. The anodized finish is solid and should last forever. This company will be my go to for this type of equipment from now on. I also bought the angle plate for the 5D Mark IV and it too is well made and fits nicely on the ball head. The stuff is not the cheapest, but, in this case, you get what you pay for.
