Arcade Machine Cabinet Build

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer.

The Dream Machine is packaged much like Apple products are now, well made finishes. Also the physical cabinet is well made with great package for mounting screws, very impressive presentation. The documents are very brief like all technical documentation are today so lots of references to more detailed instructions on their website.

I was actually trying to determine how to build a cabinet to store my lenses in. I came across this particular cabinet in a webcast featuring moose Peterson. He's the one that turned me onto this product. It works great, work silently, and keeps my lenses In a low humidity environment..

Needed two of these for a bass guitar extension cabinet. Very easy to build with speaker cable I had at home (16AWG works fine for a 2ft cable) and some hand tools- no soldering needed. Saved myself money and weight by not buying an overbuilt speaker cable. At $4/connector, I will probably pick up a few more to make backup cables.

Cabinet keeps camera gear at safe humidity levels. Product looks nice, has good build quality, and works as advertised.

The build quality is great and includes the foam liners for the trays. I wasn't expecting the foam to be anything worthwhile but it is in fact very good! Even includes one foam tray liner that has curved cut outs to hold your long lenses from rolling side to side. Fits all of my gear plus a little room for a couple of backup drives. Great to keep your gear dry and easy to get to when it's time to load up and go shoot. Pull out drawers are a nice touch on this cabinet as well but you have to have the door all the way open or you'll catch the rubber gasket with the edge of the drawer. This could easily be remedied by having the rubber gasket on the cabinet itself instead of the door but that's a minor design issue in my book.
