Arcade Machine Start

I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer.

I really like this machine. It's the most responsive one I've owned to date. We did have some problems getting it squared away at first, and I needed some help from HP Support--the machine would not start with the fancy graphics card in it, and it would go to the network start screen in the bios. We changed some settings in the bios, and that did fix the problem. So, now it starts correctly and is blazingly fast for me.

We bought ours at the start of COVID and although our business was slow, this machine has been working full tilt. When it came time for all of us to go 100% this brother went above and beyond. Very impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is perfect to the t. Let me start off saying it prints 22 pages in a minute and its quality is beyond perfect. It took me a while to get everything working properly but after going over it with my husband I finally found the right solution and after that it was smooth sailing. The way it shoots the paper is awesome I found out this works with chrome book which our child in school was like mom thanks I said you you’re welcome. I do believe this has to be the printer we need it’s fast the wi fi is amazing to be able to print what we need. Overall it’s perfect!

This machine (MFC-L3789CDW) was easy to set up and has worked perfectly right from the start. Most uses are document scanning, document printing from a LAN and copying. Many jobs are multipage and print on both sides. Many are color. This our second Brother installation (the other is an 8900CDW) and both have been perfect. They replaced a Canon which had many problems (jamming and missing pages) for many years.

The 8900 is an excellent machine with better quality than most of the printers, copiers, all-in-ones available on the consumer market today. Pros: 1- I love that it came with 4 full toner cartrdiges, not starters that quickly need replacing. 2- It was easy to set up and start using. 3- Both the black & white and color pages it prints & copies are excellent. Cons: 1- The only downside is that it can be slow to start printing, but once started, it takes off. I can live it and compared to its consumer market competition, it deserves 5 stars. If you need more machine than the 8900, you should go with a commercial machine from an office equipment sales-leasing company.

Performs well for our arcade side art project. very easy to apply with peal and stick backing and and a Bondo plastic spreader to remove bubbles. Great price too. Printed with K3 UltraChrome Inks on Epson 4880. At some point we will probably buy some 3 mil PSA Luster Calendered UV Vinyl Laminate to really protect the artwork.
