I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer. 5 |

It's the max the machine in question supports, more than it's little 6th gen i7 will ever utilize. I went from not enough at 8gb to no worries at 32gb. 5 |

I bought two of these 20TB . I am using one to make a Time Machine backup of my Mac Pro Max Laptop and one to make a Carbon Copy clone of an external SSD where all my photos and HD videos are stored. I very pleased with the build quality of the drives and the speed doing the backups. 5 |

I really wanted to get the M3 Pro, but that wasn't in stock and it was almost Christmas, so I went for the Max. It's an amazing machine. I love having all this power, even if I only really utilize it occasionally. It does make everything fast and smooth though, whether it's video editing in DaVinci Resolve, photo editing in Lightroom, or exporting motion graphics from Cavalry. I also went for the 4TB version, which is the way to go if you do video, IMHO. It's great to not have to worry about running out of space for a while. It's an expensive machine, but I intend to use it (and get a ton of use out of it) for a good number of years. 5 |
