I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer. 5 |

Picked this up as a generational upgrade for my partner's machine (2060 - 3060), and it needed to be 2-slot (not 2-slot-ish, bordering on 3, like some can be) to fit the case without having to remove other parts (fans, esp.), and this does the trick while also fitting the style/aesthetics of the build. Fabulously happy with my purchase, the extra slot for a second M.2 stick is perfect and the machine sits on my legs and is cool and comfortable to hold. I was a bit concerned about having only 8Gb memory as I tend to leave lots of tabs and windows open but no problem. The face reader tech lets me just open the cover and start to work without entering any password and it is perfect, never missing when I'm there or away, keeping my data safe. 5 |
