Arcade Stick Artwork Printing

This has been great for printing decals for our arcade machines.

I use this Epson paper for printing my artwork.

Performs well for our arcade side art project. very easy to apply with peal and stick backing and and a Bondo plastic spreader to remove bubbles. Great price too. Printed with K3 UltraChrome Inks on Epson 4880. At some point we will probably buy some 3 mil PSA Luster Calendered UV Vinyl Laminate to really protect the artwork.

If you are an arcade stick enthusiast like I am (actually, Hitbox enthusiast) then you'll eventually come across the need for a Neutrik style connector. This connector is the best you can get for USB B to A connection. The Neutrik connector fails and can be easily damaged, because that connector is reversible and not built as solidly as this one. The Neutrik I had in my Jasens Customs Panzer 3 Hitbox started failing and losing USB connectivity randomly. I bought one of these and it's been rock solid with no issues for a couple of years now. Definitely recommend this. Pick one up now if you need this type of connector!!

Printing your photos on the right paper is crucial to the finished artwork. I have been using this paper to print my best black and white photos. The tones, and the subtle gradation of tones from white to deep blacks, really makes the prints stand out. I also appreciate the effect that adding some texture to the print surface makes. If you want to see a difference in your finished work then I recommend that you try moving from the traditional, glossy/luster prints and go for a print on slightly textured, matt paper.

After trying several canvas brands, I've settled on the Hahnemuhle Daguerre canvas for printing my digital artwork directly onto canvas. This canvas holds up extremely well during stretching, I've yet to have it tear in my stretcher pliers like other brands have. My abstract colors are bright, and I've had many compliments on my canvas prints. I can't really think of any negatives - this is a very good giclee or digital print canvas.
