Device is robust and does the job well. Match with the PowerPanel software that works with nearly any flavor of linux on x86 and the network card, the UPS does exactly what it's supposed to. Dual serial ports is great as it allows me to connect directly to a Dell server but also to a KVM/Console IP switch to manage over the network. 5 |

As a Linux (Ubuntu) user, this printer worked from the moment I plugged it in and added to the network. Not the case with our older HP. Could flip a coin if I needed to re-add/configure it at each use. Setting it up with a static IP on Wifi was simple to do on the device. Once connected, all other settings were managed via browser. While I cannot comment on the longevity of the device or toner, the printouts are outstanding. My wife, who is a teacher, uses it far more than I do and since installing it, not once have I had to touch a thing. I will admit, I chose Brother solely on the advice of other Linux users and so glad I did. 5 |
